Week #1 9/3 - 9/6

First week back! This week I started a new project to kick off senior year. It is a smaller project but a necessary one none the less. I am making a lamp for my room that will attach to a homemade close rack that I have in my room. The rack is made from steel piping and it is screwed to my wall. the design of the lamp is a clamp that will screw together around the pipe and hold the lightbulb above the clothes rack. I designed the lamp in CAD and I am going to create a G-code file so that I can make the clamp portion of the lamp out of aluminum. After designing the lamp on my computer I then 3D printed the clamp so that I can take it home and make sure that I like the fit.
