Week#15 12/15 - 12/16

For me this week was all about the holiday spirit. I worked on two gifts this week, first the coat hanger and secondly a new gift for my brother in law. The coat hanger which I was also working on last week is finished now. I stained the back panel which I previously cut out on the CNC router and I also painted the hooks that I 3D printed last week. I designed the back piece so that the hooks had very little space around them to get the best look as possible. When I was deciding how to paint them and I though about my sister and how she enjoys pride so I decided to paint them as the rainbow.

While the all the paint on the hooks was drying I Decided to print out the magic the gathering life counter which is half of the gift for my bother in law. I won't lie I know almost nothing about magic the gathering but I do know this is what he wants and that I can make it. What I printed this week is basically a dial with two spinners that goes from 00 to 99. The second half of the gift I will make after break for timing reasons. It will be made out of wood and hold a card.
