This week I was getting back into my skate board chair after finishing the Magic the gathering gift for my brother in law. I Started to revisit the design by looking at the frame and how I could better fit it to being comfortable. I laser cut the design that I had previously made and this helped me see some changes that I wanted to make. The changes I decided to make were to change the angle at which the feet hit the ground so that the chair would be more stable. I also shortened the seat length as it was way longer than I needed. Some changes I might make going forward are to adjust the angle of the back but I am not sure yet. The chair is supposed to be low to the ground so you can stretch your legs out onto the floor so I want to make it so it can feel almost like lying down but you are still sitting.

After working on my chair I got a project from my teacher that is for someone who works at my school. They wanted me to make a map of Ireland so I worked in Ink-Scapes to design a map that I can make using the laser cutter. It took a few tries to find the map that would work best but eventually I found one that worked best. I used the trace bitmap feature and went in after to touch up some small points and add the names of each country.
