Week #19 1/21-1/26

This week in shop I Started building the physical parts of my Bass. The first thing that I made this week was use the CNC water jet cutter to cut out my aluminium pick guard.

I currently plan to get the pick guard anodized but I have also been considering other options. Anodizing does offer many pros but I have been experimenting with other ideas. Along with the pick guard I also worked on some knobs for the Volume, Tone, and Blend controls on my bass. I am either going to mill them or 3D resin print them.

I also gave some attention to my wood this week. I started by seeing if I would be able to get it all flat in my shop but I decided I will not be able to. On Friday I am going to go the MVTHS Carpentry shop to see if they can plane it for me.
