week #24 3/16 - 3/21

At the beginning of this week I printed out the new PVC holder that I created to go along with the new fish feeder. The new clamp/holder is a huge improvement to the old one. Instead of ataching with only one screw the new one attaches with 3. This is an improvement to the stability of the piece. Another issue with the old one is that the PVC would not be held in strong so on this clamp I added two screw holes. The screw holds have a threaded brass insert that allows there to be a set screw for the PVC pipe.

After assembling the fish feeder completely I moved on to my chair project. While working on the fish feeder I had an idea on how to add a support to my chair underneath the seat. Once I finished with the fish feeder I spent time in my design to add four supports. one for each skateboard. There will be a piece of wood that goes across that I will also cut on the router.
