Since I am still waiting on parts to come in for my Bass I took a bit of a different route with what I worked on. I started by modeling the neck to my bass in cad. The model is representing the neck that I will be putting on my Bass which is will be a 34" scale length 4 string bass neck. The scale length is the length of the fret board. To find the scale length you measure from the wealth threat to the bottom of fret board and then double that length. The neck will also feature 22 frets and have a 9.5" neck radius. A 'fret' is a metal bar placed across the wooden fingerboard where you press down the string to finger a note. The neck radius is the curve of the top of the neck, it determines how the instrument plays by affecting how far the strings have to be pushed down.

After I modeled the neck I helped out some others in my shop with working on their vehicles. Firstly my shop teacher was changing the staring wheel in his car to a next style and he asked me f I wished to help. First we had to take out the airbag of his old staring wheel which was a tricky task but we figured it out. After taking the airbag out we removed the staring wheel. once the old staring wheel was removed we installed the new wheel into the car and then put the airbag in. The next person I helped was a close classmate Sacha Silvia. He wanted to install a modification to the trunk of his car. we drilled into the truck and then attached the modification. after this we needed to wire the new third break light to the existing break light. To do this we spliced the positive and negative wires going to the light with the ones coming from the new light.
