This week was shorter for me since we did not have school Wednesday and Thursday I was out sick so I only had three days to work. I was working on the fish feeder adapter, finally transferring it from something just on my computer to actually turning it on the lathe. Before I could start turning I had to 3D print one last test model to make sure that the ring that will trigger the sensor fits around the adapter, and is the correct distance in for the sensor to read.

This is the test print I made to test the distance of the ring to the sensor, and to make sure it will reach the sensor at the correct point.

This is the drawing that I will use to turn the adapter on the lathe. Turning is when you create something on a lathe. Like milling but it takes place on a lathe and the material is always spinning, and the drill bit meets the material when it is stationary.
