Week #6 10/6 - 10/7

This week I started to look into shade options for my lamp. I made many design until settling on the one you see below. However this shade is not finished. I am not sure how but I would like to add some sort of light diffuser to it so it wont be so bright. The shade will be 3D printed. I had to look up a guide produced by Fusion 360 to learn this technique but now that I know how to make it I plan to use it more. I love how the pattern resembles a basket weaving style, and that it changes with the curve of the shade.

This is the clamp that I resin printed last week. I sanded it slightly to clean off the support, and although its not perfect I am pleased since it is a temporary design until I can figure out how to make one properly out of metal. I also plan to paint it which should cover up some of its flaws.
