This week was a shorter work work since Monday was a holiday, Tuesday I was dismissed, and Wednesday was a half day. My mane goal this week was to design a new way to mount the motor that drives the fish feeder auger. This is the mounts current state. All the things that go into it are correct but the actual mount is the wrong size and shape. The issues with this design lie in where it mounts to the metal frame and also where the sensor disk is read. The new design will be a two dimensional piece of metal that everything will screw into. There will not be any interference issues since it will be a flat piece, and mounting it will be far easier.

Bellow is a cardboard cut out of what my design will look like. I plan to cut it out on the waterjet out of steel or aluminum.
