This week I took on yet another shop project, taking an old project someone had made and improving its functionality. The project was to make a box to hold a potentiometer that we installed to change the volume of out shop PA speaker.

This was the old box that I was re making. the main issues with this box was that is would not hold the potentiometer in place when you tried t turn it so it was not functional.

The first thing I decided when designing was that the dimensions were not the best shape so I changed it to better fit the shape of the potentiometer. Then I changes the depth so that it would hold the potentiometer in place when trying to turn it.

This shows the final product, once it was fully installed and wired up.

I'd also like to thank classmate Cormac Lynch for helping me with some assembly.
