I have moved onto the next section of my Bass Guitar project. What you see here is the model I designed in CAD that I will make on the CNC milling machine. To make this to the same scale and commercial bridges that you would put on a bass guitar I took the bridge off one of my basses at home measured its dimensions. The type of barge I was modeling is the LEO QUAN BADASS II BASS BRIDGE, This bridge follows the standard Fender replacement 5 hole style of bridges. "5 hole" refers to the mounting system. The only other part that is not depicted in the model of the bridge are the string saddles, which I have yet to model. Although I am modeling them I will not be making them.
If you have been following my posts you might have noticed that the colors have changed, this is since I still have not decided on a final color pallet for the guitar. If you have any subjections please feel free to let me know.
As far as projects separate from the Bass this week I also wired up the second shop loud speaker. Unfortunately it does not work in its current configuration so I will go back and re check the wiring next week.
