During shop this week I started by cutting out the new motor mount for the fish feeder using the water jet. The piece had a few prototypes before it got to it's current state but I am happy with it now. I painted the part so that it will not rust. Once the paint dries I will assemble all the components. To assemble the motor sensor I will need to use a mix of nuts and washers to have it at the right distance in relation to the sensor disk.

After my tasks with the fish feeder for this week my friend Nathan asked from some help using the CNC router (which is my favorite machine in the shop to use). So of course I said yes. We started with V-Carve Pro where we created the cutting paths for the machine. Then once everything in V-Carve was set up we brought the cuts over to the Router and I taught him how to set up the router and cut something with it.
